I’ve been immersed in the world of nutrition and metabolism for over 20 years—but not just from books or degrees. This journey began with my own body: years of restriction, experimentation, and ultimately, healing through nourishment.

Like many, I cycled through nearly every dietary camp in search of answers: vegetarian, vegan, raw foodist, fruitarian, paleo, gluten-free, anti-candida, ketogenic, carnivore, animal-based, protein-sparing modified fasting, reverse dieting… and finally, pro-metabolic—the approach that changed everything.

While I was experimenting, I was also studying the anthropology of the human diet in grad school and on my own. What I discovered: our ancestors thrived on simple, bioavailable, nutrient-dense foods—meat, raw dairy, fruit, honey, eggs, and tubers. No labels. Just real food. And lots of it.

These days, I eat in a way that supports metabolic repair, hormone balance, nervous system health, and deep cellular regeneration. I move my body with zone 2 cardio, strength training, and yoga to support mitochondrial function and muscle preservation.

These days, I follow a rhythm that supports metabolic healing, hormone balance, and nervous system calm—with food my body trusts and movement that builds strength without stress.

With safety comes change: better sleep, brighter mood, clearer skin, stronger hair, and steady muscle gain. Healing isn’t just possible—it’s inevitable when the body can relax.

🌿 From Burnout to Balance: My Own Healing Journey

Years of under-eating, over-stressing, and toxic food beliefs left me with:

  • Type 2 diabetes

  • SIBO, IBS, celiac, and constant bloating

  • Chronic acne, anxiety, and depression

  • Alcoholism and disordered eating

  • Hormonal chaos and metabolic shutdown

  • 60+ pounds of weight gain—and zero energy

But through high-calorie nourishment, ancestral foods, sunlight, structured movement, minerals, and gentle supplementation, I healed. I’ve kept the weight off for a decade without dieting, and I’ve helped hundreds of others do the same.

I’m a Licensed Nutritionist, both nationally (CNS) and in the State of Minnesota (LN), and I hold additional certifications as a:

My academic background includes a Master’s in Biological Sciences (MBS) from the University of Minnesota—an interdisciplinary degree combining Nutrition, Public Health, and Biochemistry—plus a BA in Liberal Arts.

I offer one-on-one sessions virtually or in person, including nutrition counseling, lactation support, and coaching for nervous system regulation and root-cause healing.
